Wings of Morning. Saunders. 1948. Single to semi-double. Pale yellow-cream flower of heavy substance. Furled back. Small flares wide and dark. Filaments creamy reddish. Stigmas cream-white, sheath cream-white, with blush of pink. Anthers waxy. Foliage of heavy substance. No fertility noted to date. Strong growing plant has medium-deep green unblemished foliage.  This cultivars is often mixed up in commerce with Helios, a Daphnis hybrid.  Ships in late September to mid October.  AGE: Field grown, 4+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
