Yae-zakura.  (Host of Cherry Blossoms).  Japan.  1940.  Unregistered historic Japanese suffruticosa cultivar. Light cherry blossom pink semi-double flowers.  Beautiful, finely notched petals.   No flares present.  Strong stems and excellent flower carriage.   Plants are floriferous and good growers to 4 to 5′ here in Wisconsin and at least as wide.  Fertile both ways. Ships in late September to mid-October.  AGE: Field-grown, 3+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
