Zephyrus

Zephyrus (God of the West Wind). Daphnis. 1980.    Advanced generation lutea hybrid. Parentage: (Suisho Haku x F2A). Large semi-double (many-petalled) creamy white flowers with a light lavender-pink overlay and dark maroon flares. Cream sheath, red stamens, and light green stigmas.  Plants are low-growing (<3 feet) and are wide (4 feet), densely foliated, and grow many stems. Bloom is typically not heavy, but the large, ornate flowers make it a winner.  An easy-to-grow plant.  Beautiful flowers.  Fertile both ways, but seed fertility is less. Ships in late September to mid-October.  AGE: Field-grown, 3+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
