Baron Thyssen-Bornemisza.  Smithers.  1992.  Rockii x suffruticosa hybrid.   Very large highly ruffled lavender-pink flowers with a cream base.  Typical dark ‘rockii’ flares are found at the base of the petals.  Flowers are semi-double, but the petal configuration make for a very full bloom.  Plants are floriferous and present the blooms upward and outward.  Stem hardiness in our climate is very good.  This plant can be expected to acquire a height of 5 feet after 10 years and an equal width in that time.  Outstanding!  (Rock’s Variety x Kamata Fuji).  Easily fertile both ways.  Ships in late September to mid October.  AGE: Field grown, 4+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.

Color: Eyes and/or Edges, Lavender-Pink-Coral
FLOWER CHARACTERISTICS: Semi-double
